Summer is the best time to travel around the world because kids have no classes and bosses will let you take a break. Summer is just the time to spend with the families, friends and relatives. I know that every family needs to have a vacation…so its time spend the money that you are saving! You may ride with a bus, a boat or an airplane to get into your destination. But I suggest you travel using the airplane because you can save time and the travel is not so tiring. However, it has been said that airplanes does not supply blankets and pillows anymore. [Yayks, its so cold in the plane and there is no blankets and pillow?] Gosh, I remember when my sister stole the blanket from the plane [hehehe]. If you find a pillow and a blanket, its 99% sure that the pillow and blanket has not been washed. You are predisposed to acquire variety of bacteria and viruses. Thankfully, Cabin Cuddler is here to help offering a travel blanket and a pillow. It’s a 6-1 travel blanket and pillow. It comes with a hygenic inflatable pillows with a tote bag that is easy to carry. Cabin Cuddle also offers a blanket that will keep you warm throughout your flight. What’s good about it is you can attach the tote to your luggage. All of this costs only $29.95. [Very affordable] You could either choose the black or cranberry color.

Greek Play!

Heap Up on Aug-20-2008

There was a game that ancient Greek kids used to play. I’ts called the Pebble Chase. The game is very easy. The leader holds a pebble in his hand while the other players stand in line and hold out their hands with their palms open. The leader pretends to drop the pebble into each player’s hand. When he actually drops it into a player’s hand, that player must run to the base  (which is 40-60 feet away) and back to the leader to return the pebble. The other players chase him and if one of them catches him before he returns the pebble to the leader, that person will be the next leader. If the runner is not caught, ge wins and becomes the next leader!

There is one event I will never forget. It was the birthday party of my bestfriend. It was held in a hotel, everyone was dressed-up properly. Everything was nice… the food, the place, the music until one guy just bumped me and said ” Do I know you from somewhere? Because I don’t recognize you with your clothes on?” I was really shocked after hearing those immoral words! “Excuse me? Who are you to say that to me? (With an angry tone). He just smiled and walk away. Wew! That was the worst, worst, worst pick-up lines ever! I think he went away because he was embarassed. 6 Refreshing Fixes for Bad Breath

Heap Up on Aug-17-2008

Too shy to talk with someone because of your bad breath? Here are 6 ways from “The Home Remedies” to refresh yourself:

1. Keep your mouth clean. “That’s the key thing”. Thorough brushing twice a day. Flossing regularly. Food and bacteria trapped between teeth and at the gum line can only be removed with floss; if it’s left to linger, it’s not going to smell nice.

2. Clean your tongue, too. Bacteria left on your tongue can certainly contribute to less-than-fresh breath, so be sure to brush your tongue after you’ve polished your pearly whites.

3. Wet your whistle. A dry mouth can equal smelly breath. Salive helps clean your mouth; it has a natural antibacterial action and it washes away food particles. Try chewing sugarless gum or sucking on sugarless mints to stimulate saliva production.

4. Rinse. Rinse your mouth with plain water after eating. Swishing the water around in your mouth may help to remove some of the food particles left in the mouth after a meal.

5. Munch on parsley. That green sprig of parsley that came with your meal can do more than decorate your plate. While munching on parsley or spearmint won’t cure bad breath, the scent of the herb itself can help temporarily cover up offending oral odor.

6. Eat to smell sweet. Foods that help fight plaque may also help fight mouth odor. Opt for celery, carrots, peanuts, or a bit of low-fat healthy diet will help your teeth as well.

Goodbye Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!

Heap Up on Aug-17-2008

Imak

People who usually play the piano and always sitting in the computer typing all day are predisposed to develop carpal tunnel syndrome. And I’m not an exemption to that. As a blogger, I always face my beautiful computer ( without a mouse pad ) and do the “typing thingy” to finish my tasks. For how many months of blogging I noticed that my wrists and fingers were starting to get hurt and when I play the piano, the sound sucks because I could hardly move my wrists and fingers! It really gave me a headache. I tried to ease the pain by taking analgesics (a pain reliever) but the relief was only temporary. I also tried to exercise my wrists and fingers. However, the pain became worst.

Finally, I found this carpal tunnel relief by IMAK. I’ve been searching for this and thankfully I’ve found the best relief! I love the smart glove, wrist wrap, wrist cushion and mouse cushion. Gosh! I think I love them all! This is what I’m looking for to relieve my carpal tunnel syndrome. Since, I have this now… I can continue my “typing thingy” and play the piano all day! :)

Attention to all bloggers, don’t forget to buy a carpal tunnel relief by IMAK for you to continue the world of blogging! Remember, wrists and fingers are very important for typing! Buy now!

Get yourself a “techn’o“. It means get some of the coolest gadgets in town! Here are two cool gadgets I’ve found!

Verb for Shoe

If you think computers are taking over the world, you just might be right and they’re starting with your feet! “Verb for Shoe” is a computerized shoe packed with software that adjusts itself to your movement, tracks power usage and motion, and even communicates with other shoe wearers! Gosh! But all this technology doesn’t come cheap as the fully-loaded option costs US$1,000.

NARO

This car of the future is just like a four-wheel motobike. The idea was to make a vehicle narrow enough to slip through traffic, but still fast enough to take to the highway. Weighing in at just 300 kilograms, it can seat  two in futuristic comfort and still lean smoothly into the tightest corners!
